Education
(FAFSA)
Personal
Identification
Number
(PIN)

Your
e-mail
address,
date
of
birth,
and
social
security
number
Step
1:
Navigate
to
the
website:
www.studentloans.gov.
Step
2:
under
Manage
My
Direct
Loan.
Step
3:
Click
Complete
Entrance
Counseling.
Step
4:
Select
either
"Undergrad"
or
"Graduate"
loans
based
on
your
enrollment.
Step
5:
Complete
your
Loan
Entrance
Counseling/Quiz.
Important
Note:
Select
GEORGIA
and
then
MERCER
UNIVERSITY
in
the
drop-down
menus
of
the
School
and
Loan
Information
section.
Mercer’s
Macon
address
will
appear.
After
you
have
complete
the
entrance
counseling
quiz,
our
office
will
be
notified
by
the
U.S.
Department
of
Education
within
approximately
one
week
that
you
have
completed
entrance
counseling.
How
to
Complete
a
Master
Promissory
Note
You
will
need
the
following
items
to
complete
a
Master
Promissory
Note :
• Your US Department of Education (FAFSA) Personal Identification Number (PIN)
• Permanent Address, Telephone Number, and Email Address
• Driver’s License Number (if applicable)
• Names, addresses and phone numbers of two personal references.
You
must
have
known
the
references
for
at
least
three
years.
References
cannot
share
the
same
address
or
phone
number.

2:
under

Master
Promissory
Note.

the
appropriate
loan
